Elderly Care
Recognising the particular needs of the elderly, especially within displaced communities,
we offer targeted support including health cost reimbursement, living stipends and services
for special needs.
Pilot Project:
A Household Grant
Living on their own, an elderly couple in Jammu thought that their retirement savings would
be enough for a simple but dignified life. Unfortunately, a chronic illness requiring repeated
medical attention drove the couple nearly to destitution. Unable to work because of their age
and illness, they are now grantees of The Ath Rott Foundation and receive both health care cost
defrayal as well as income support.
