Community Endeavours
Displaced communities, need not just direct support but the capacity to rebuild social networks
through public, cultural and social events that can aid the process of rebuilding. The Ath Rott
Foundation is committed to supporting such community level processes.
Pilot Project:
Navreh Celebrations
Every year, the Kashmiri pandit community in New Delhi comes together to celebrate Navreh, the
new year. In 2008, The Ath Rott Foundation supported celebrations by sponsoring invitation cards,
offsetting catering and festival costs, thereby helping the festival to reach its largest attendance
yet and become an unqualified success.
