Our Approach
The Ath Rott Foundation uses a team of volunteers and outreach workers spread across the
country to identify displaced individuals, families, and communities in need. We take a
broad and inclusive definition of displacement. We focus our efforts on individuals,
families and communities that have been displaced through violence, ethnic conflict, and
natural disasters, and also through large scale development projects be it at the national,
state or city level.
Our focus areas are: Education,
Health, Elderly Care,
and Community Endeavours. Each short listed case is assessed on
the basis of a matrix of parameters established by a select set of The Ath Rott Foundation board members,
all accomplished professionals from various fields. The type and quantum of support is then determined
and disbursed. Regular monitoring is undertaken of grantees and progress reports are transmitted to The
Ath Rott Foundation sponsors and funders.
